Following the severe earthquake that occurred in the Marmara Region on 17th August 1999, TR Ministry of Public Works and Settlement has identified an emergency reconstruction program in the affected areas. 

Sakarya Region Permanent Housing Engineering Design and Consultancy Services were provided by PROKON.

Reconstruction program has been composed of 5 regions such as Bolu- Düzce, Sakarya- Centrum, Kocaeli- Centrum, Kocaeli- Gölcük- Gulf Region and Yalova. Our consultancy services have included reconstruction program of 6000 houses and 1500 work places in Sakarya-Centrum. The total construction area of housings, social facilities, infrastructure and landscaping is 700.000 m².

The Project covers the infrastructure Works of  the 194 Villas built on 200.000m2 area which were located on two separate fields of SS. Cevregol parlament Building Cooperation.

T.R. Housing Development Administration of Turkey has decided the Construction of Houses, Hospitals and Social Facilities in order to satisfy the necessity in East Anatolia Region.

The Project covers 12 different cities: Ağrı, Ardahan, Bingöl, Elazığ, Erzincan, Erzurum, Hakkâri, Kars, Malatya, Muş, Tunceli, and Van.

The project covers the Construction Supervision of 6712 houses, 4 hospitals, 4 Primary Schools having 16 classes, 4 Primary Schools having 24 classes and 2 High Schools having 32 classes.

The total construction area of 6712 houses is approximately 1.100.000 m²

The total construction area of schools is approximately 51.000 m²

The hospitals in the scope of the project are as follows:

• Ardahan State Hospital (150 Bed Capacity, 29.000 m²)
• Bingöl, Genç State Hospital (50 Bed Capacity, 9.000 m²) and public housing
• Kars, Sarıkamış State Hospital (50 Bed Capacity, 9.500 m²)
• Tunceli State Hospital (150 Bed Capacity, 31.000 m²)

The project covers site supervision services during construction and defects and liability period.
The total building area of the project is approximately 520.000 m2.

The project also covers the construction supervision of road connections, infrastructural, environmental and landscaping works.

The social facilities within the scope of this project are as follows;
– One high school,
– Three  24 classroomed primary schools,
– Two commercial centers,
– Mosque, Library and Fountain.

The project also covers the construction supervision of road connections, infrastructural, environmental and landscaping works.

Some of the social facilities within the scope of this project are as follows;

·         Bursa- 24 Classroom and 32 Classroom primary schools, two sport complex, two mosques and two commercial centers,

·         Afyon-Kindergarten, commercial center,

·         Balıkesir- Kindergarten, commercial center, fountain and mosque

·         Uşak- Primary School, commercial center, fountain, mosque and cafeteria.
