Information About the Project

İskenderun Power Plant is the first power plant operating with imported coal contracted as “Build-Operate” system.  The power plant is built by the consortium of Babcock Borsig Power (Germany), GT Gama-Tekfen Joint Venture (Turkey) and SİMKO (Turkey) PROKON has undertaken the local engineering and design works of the plant as part of the GT Joint Venture.

Engineering and design management including multi-disciplined engineering, architectural services and coordination, site technical support were within the scope of the project. Also the detailed services are listed below:

·         Topographical survey & set out  of grid lines

·         Geotechnical survey & report

·         Site preparation

·         Architectural and engineering design services including structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and I & C

·         Technical support during implementation of the work
