Information About the Project

İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality has planned to invest in an indoor sports facility and youth center Gaziosmanpaşa – İstanbul in the year 2012.  

Prokon Mühendislik ve Müşavirlik A.Ş. has undertaken all engineering services including Architectural, Structural, Infrastructural, Mechanical and Electrical Disciplines.

The structure is designed as an indoor sports facility and a car park which can be transformed into an open market in a specific day of the week. The open market capacity is 1050 benches. The total area of this project is 25.351 m2.

The youth center, sports hall and car park is designed as 3 separate buildings. Those 3 buildings are gathered with a yard named as activity area.

Indoor Sports Facility (3781 m2):

The indoor sports facility consists of one basketball field with 15m x 28m dimensions, volleyball field, tribune with 750 spectator capacity, spectator lounges, plates hall, fitness hall and locker rooms. The entrance to the sports and fitness halls are in +0.00 level and the spectator entrances are given from the terrace and connection bridge at first floor.

Youth Center (2665 m2):

The youth center consists of design warehouses, classrooms, exhibition area, conference hall having 130 person capacity, library, sitting and resting areas. The classrooms have 30 students capacity.

Car Park Area (14411 m2):

The car park is designed for 283 car capacity in 3 floors. The first and second floors are also designed as open market with 1050 benches capacity and 3rd floor is designed for the customers. The 3rd floor also have the technical areas and shelter.
